About:
Dr. Joy is a volunteer missionary Psychiatrist at SMAH from the Philippines who is a Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist, recognized in her country as well as Internationally. She had her own private clinic in the Philippines since 2002 till she was called to help SMAH during the pandemic in 2021. Before coming to Nepal, Dr Joy has established the first government Psychiatric open ward in her province, has held Chairmanship positions in both the government and non-government mental health sector, has been a Professor for several medical and graduate schools in the Philippines, and has treated children and adults with mental health conditions in the out-patient and in-patient setting.
