About:

Dr. Shivaji Bikram Silwal is a Senior Consultant Cardiologist, serving at Norvic International Hospital, Kathmandu (as Senior Consultant Interventional Cardiologist), Alka Hospital Lalitpur (as senior Consultant Cardiologist), and Scheer Memorial Hospital Banepa (as Head, Department of Cardiology). He holds a Master’s degree in Cardiology from Sun Yat-Sen University, China, and a fellowship in interventional cardiology from Medanta Hospital, New Delhi.

Dr. Silwal is highly regarded in the field of cardiac medicine in Nepal and has made significant contributions to the prevention of heart diseases by increasing public awareness of cardiovascular conditions and their associated risk factors. He is also widely recognized on Nepali social media for his regular health tips.

He has authored and co-authored numerous health-related articles in both national and international publications, aiming to improve medical knowledge among the general public. Dr. Silwal further extends his public health initiatives through the National Heart Foundation-Nepal, where he serves as President. Additionally, he is the personal physician of the Vice President of Nepal.
